The Attractions Association is the super organization of attractions in Israel.
The association represents the tourist attractions in Israel and promotes a variety of issues in the areas of regulation and legislation in the field, in the areas of safety. The training and welfare of those engaged in the industry.
The importance of the association’s activities took on a new meaning after the outbreak of the corona plague, where the entire tourism industry was fatally damaged. The association worked with the Knesset and with the decision-makers in the Ministries of Health, Tourism and Finance in order to promote the field during a difficult period, and to ensure that the voices of the owners of the attractions are heard.
The Association Activity
Parliamentary Activity
The association serves as a permanent member of the Knesset Tourism Lobby.
The association works with various government ministries such as the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health and the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as with local authorities and regional councils.
The association is the representative of the attractions in all the professional committees of the Standards Institute and the Standards Administration in the Ministry of Economy.
Core Activity
The association conducts meetings and tours of various attractions throughout the country in order to understand the needs of the owners of the attractions in various fields such as:
Standardization, regulation, insurance, current expenses (property taxes, copyrights, etc.) and works together with the members of the association to meet them.
The association is part of the Chamber of Inbound Tourism Organizers and various tourism organizations in Israel.
International Cooperation
As of 2021 the association is part of the IAAPA, the Global Attractions Association and serves as part of the International Committee along with parallel associations from around the world.
The association is in direct contact with the IAAPA management and in close cooperation in various ongoing activities.
The association works in collaboration with other associations including the MENALAC Association of Attractions of the Middle Eastern and North African countries.
